The New York City Department of Environmental Protection proposes to amend its rules governing house/site connections to the sewer system to clarify language, update peak flow requirements, align with new construction/post-construction requirements, align with recent updates to the New York City Plumbing Code, and provide more detailed and comprehensive information in order to make it easier for the regulated community to determine what needs to be done to attain compliance.
