Repeal of Rules relating to the Electrical Code – No Public Hearing

- Electrical Code Rules Definitions (1 RCNY § 34-04) - The rule refers to the previous location of the Electrical Code in Chapter 3 of Title 27 of the Administrative Code, which has been repealed, and contains a reference to the National Electrical Code that is now in § 28-1101.1 of the Administrative Code.
- Payment of Fees for Certificates of Electrical Inspection (1 RCNY § 35-02) -The rule refers to § 27-3018 of the Administrative Code, which has been repealed. The permit fees are currently addressed in 1 RCNY § 101-03 and § 28-112.2 of the Administrative Code.
- Evaluation of Educational Experience of Applicants for Electrical Contractor Licenses (1 RCNY § 36-01) -These requirements are now set forth in § 28-429.3.1 of the Administrative Code.
- Impact of Periods of Unemployment upon Applications for Electrician’s License (1 RCNY § 36-02) - These requirements are now set forth in § 28-429.3.1 of the Administrative Code.
