The Department of Consumer and Worker Protection is proposing to add and amend rules to implement Local Law 129, which creates an exception to the item pricing requirements for retail stores that provide price scanners available for customer use. These proposed rules provide guidance on the required number of, and adequate locations for, price scanners.
