Will this apply to city council members as well? We seem to be lax in enforcing against elected officials. For example, Council Member Darlene Mealy has $24K in back taxes and fines to city agencies, but gets to avoid consequences due to her position on city council. Can we ensure these new rules apply to all NYC businesses, event those owned by elected officials like the Mayor or City Council?

Mayor Adam’s owes New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene fees for rat mitigation and clean up at 936 Lafayette Ave. However, since he is mayor you dont collect. would you also give him a pass on Rules Relating to Applicants and Renewal Applications for Mobile Food Vending Licenses or Permits? Or is his pass just on rat clean up, mitigation and enforcement?
