This proposed amendment will increase the pool of qualified people that can register as Licensed Construction Superintendents. Section 3310-02 of Chapter 3300 of Title 1 of RCNY, paragraph (f)(2) already allows a Concrete Safety Manager to register as either a Site Safety Manager or Site Safety Coordinator. This amendment will allow a Concrete Safety Manager to also be allowed to register as a Licensed Construction Superintendent. This will increase the flexibility of an individual to determine which role they wish to assume at any given jobsite.

What a joke to let unqualified
Professionals with less a year to qualified for a Super license. Should have at least 10 years in the business !!!

In general this should be stopped as the qualifications for a superintendent are higher than a concrete safety manager this will lead to lower salaries and will hurt the superintendent community

    On anther note
If allowing concete safety manager to be a superintendent shold pave the way to allow superintendents to be concrete safety managers as well

Curently dob is allowing all certifications to become superintendents this should work both ways
